Hi! I'm Karen, the heart and soul behind Island Girls Cleaning. The journey to building this business began as a young mother of four daughters on the breathtaking San Juan Islands in Washington. Balancing a traditional 9-to-5 job with the demands of motherhood felt like an impossible juggling act. So, in 2001, I followed a whisper of passion and started Island Girls Cleaning part-time.

Cleaning has always been more than just a chore for me; it's a true labor of love. There's an undeniable magic in transforming a space and making it sparkle. The joy I find in seeing a home shine fuels my dedication to this craft. When my family and I moved to Colorado in 2006, the name Island Girls Cleaning remained, a cherished connection to our roots and the foundation upon which this dream was built.
